Emily has been with Ben Harvey Construction since 2019 and like her brother Benjamin, has grown up in the family business. Learning everything from the development of a bid to the importance of modern-day construction practices, Emily is a key individual to the company. She is responsible for keeping all daily activities running smoothly through close collaboration with the Executive team. Emily continues to help solidify the Benjamin R. Harvey Company as a household name in the New Jersey construction market. Emily’s drive to implement new ideas and practices continues to showcase her commitment to another successful 82 years of business.

Stacie Matches
Stacie has over 25 years of accounting experience. Stacie’s skills in general bookkeeping and AIA Billing make her an asset to our project management and front office operations. Working closely with everyone in the office, she will provide crucial support in our daily operations as well as accounting solutions for any of our ongoing projects. She is responsible for managing financial reporting, internal controls and day to day operations of the accounting department. Stacie is a graduate of the Accounting and Computer Program from the Katherine Gibbs School and holds a vast knowledge in the most current accounting software programs.
Betsy McCaffrey Bragen
Betsy has been with the Ben Harvey Construction for 5 plus years and is responsible for critical accounting duties. Betsy oversees the most important financial aspects of our organization which include everything from making sure our subcontractors and vendors are paid on time to keeping the lights on in our office. Her can do attitude and dedication is what truly makes her an asset to our organization. There is no task too big or too small in which Betsy is not fully dedicated to accomplishing. Betsy holds a BS in Business Management from Dominican College.
Benjamin R. Harvey, IV
Benjamin has worked in project management for 5 plus years and has been around the construction industry his entire life. Growing up in the family business, Benjamin has been exposed to every role within the company. From field laborer to site supervisor to estimator, Benjamin continues to gain the hands-on experience needed to run a successful company. Ben is the next generation of company leadership and aspires to expand upon modern industry practices as well as uphold the principles on which the company was founded. Mr. Harvey is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and holds a bachelor’s in Business Management & Entrepreneurship.
Benjamin R. Harvey, III
Mr. Harvey is a third-generation builder with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. With holding both field and executive management positions, Ben has been able to solidify the company as a major contributor to construction projects across New Jersey. For the past 25 plus years he has been the principal of Ben Harvey Construction, overseeing everything from day-to-day operations to project closeouts. Through his leadership and knowledge, Ben continues to carry on the legacy and traditions that have been instilled upon every employee since 1943. Ben holds an AA in Civil Engineering from Florida International University and a BS in Construction Engineering and Technology from Fairleigh-Dickinson University.
Stephen Acerra
Mr. Acerra has been with the Ben Harvey Construction for 20 plus years and holds a combined 35 years in the construction industry. Throughout his career Stephen has held various positions from purchasing agent and estimator to his current role as VP of Construction and Project Executive. His experience and high attention to detail has led to the completion of many commercial, industrial, and institutional projects being under budget and ahead of schedule. In addition to his project management role, Stephen oversees the development and continuation of client relationships on both new and completed projects. Mr. Acerra holds an AAS in Architectural Technology from Mercer County College and a BS in Construction and Civil Engineering Technology from NJIT.
